My client is a leading foreign bank with rapid expansion in China. Currently they are looking for project manager within financial industry. This position is based in Chengdu.
The main responsibility would be working with the appropriate leadership team to present a united, credible team to the wider organisation; working with the appropriate leadership team to position Project Professionals at the forefront of project management thought leadership and consultancy within the company. Monitor and control progress of project, management of documentation, and provide regular reports on status are also your responsibility. Identifying and initiating new solutions or approaches to improve Project Office Management performance; participate in the continuous improvement of existing processes within the project are required as well.
To be a successful candidate,4+ years previous Project Management experience gained across a variety of project types (or related senior business management experience) is required. Preferably from a relevant background. Knowledge of PMO management, finance processes, risk and project management standards. Very strong expertise in PM knowledge areas like Risk Management, Issue Management, Communications, Status Reporting are preferred. Strong expertise and Proficient in MS Office suite including MS Excel (Advanced), Powerpoint, Visio, Word and Project tools like MS Project and Clarity. Experience with collaborative tools like Sharepoint is preferred.
